Exploring the unique challenges faced by parents and how HR can support their employees with parental responsibilities
At every level, employees face stress—whether at home or in the workplace. For parents and carers, balancing professional and personal responsibilities can significantly impact their performance, and in some cases, may even lead to the difficult decision of stepping away from work.
This online workshop is designed to help people professionals understand the unique challenges faced by parents and carers, providing actionable strategies to support their well-being.
By addressing these challenges, companies can enhance employee retention, boost productivity, and reduce absenteeism, all while fostering a more inclusive and supportive work environment.
About the speaker
Hansa has lived experience of caring for a child who struggled with their mental health and founded the charity- Holding Space – as well as running her own consultancy business. Her passion lies in supporting parents/carers so that they feel supported and heard. She understands the everyday struggles that parents/carers face at home and in the workplace.
Hansa has 20 years of experience in the NHS and charity sector at operational and strategic level. She works with NHS England and businesses advocating on behalf of parents/carers.
