Employment law update for standalone HR practitioners: key legal changes, what they mean for HR, and space to connect with peers.
Our next CIPD Manchester standalone HR practitioner group event will focus on an essential employment law update, designed to keep you informed and ahead of the curve.
We’ll cover key developments including the Employment Rights Bill, the newly introduced duty to prevent sexual harassment, and the implications of the recent Supreme Court gender ruling.
The session will explore what has changed, why it matters, and what practical steps HR professionals need to take in response.
As always, there will be plenty of time for networking and group discussion, giving members a valuable opportunity to reflect on how these legislative changes impact their work and wider organisational policies.
Guest speaker: Nigel Crebbin, Director - Employment, DWF
Nigel is a Director in the employment team at DWF, advising on a wide range of employment and HR issues, as well as delivering employment law training.
