About this event

An interactive session that includes a physical and mental approach to well-being.

An interactive session that includes a physical and mental approach to well-being. The session will be divided into two blocks: a small Pilates class that will be done in your chair, followed by a quick meditation led by Sara (the organizer) and a talk by Charlotte (the speaker).

Charlotte’s speech will focus on chronic illnesses and how people professionals can better support and understand the existence of invisible illnesses or disabilities—medical conditions that are not outwardly apparent—and assist employees on their journey,

.

We will also include the annual meeting for CIPD Branch in North London at the beginning of the session and then move to Mindful Networking, providing a fit for all event. Because not all illnesses are visible.

About the speaker

Charlotte Neal

Charlotte Neal, Head of Community Connections at Reward Gateway Edenred, is changing the narrative around what it means to have a chronic health condition at work. From working in the newsrooms of national and local papers to changing careers entirely after years of undiagnosed sickness, she has been on a journey of self-discovery and realised her recovery wouldn't have been possible without her employer.

Through sharing her powerful story, real-life examples from those in her broad HR network and practical tips you can implement tomorrow, Charlotte hopes to change the narrative on chronic health at work - join her to discover how you can support the one in four people in the UK living with one or more chronic conditions and make the world a better place to work
