Presented by Harper Macleod, a review of the recent developments in respect of the Employment Rights Bill and essential update on business immigration changes. The session focus not only on the legal implications but also the practical implications and what HR professionals need to be thinking about now in order to meet the challenges ahead.


Speakers bio:

Ewan Stafford is a Law Society of Scotland Accredited Specialist in Employment law and acts for clients in the Highlands, Islands & Moray. He is experienced in advising clients in the public, private and third sector on a wide range of employment-related matters arising throughout the whole employment relationship, from recruitment through to termination of employment. The Legal 500 ranks Ewan as a “Recommended Lawyer” in Employment.


Ashley Fleming, specialises in immigration, asylum and nationality law and has extensive experience advising businesses and individuals on all aspects of UK immigration law having worked in this area since 2005. She is dual qualified in Scotland and England & Wales. Ashley is a regular trainer for the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association and writes on developments in immigration law and is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales Immigration Law Committee. She is also ranked in Immigration in both the UK’s leading legal directories The Legal 500 and Chambers UK.


Venue details:

Prompt arrival as the reception is unmanned once the event starts. Access will be through glass entrance at far end of the building (beside the flagpole) from 5pm.
