About the speakers
Catalina Schveninger Chartered FCIPD
Business and HR leader turned consultant, Catalina Schveninger supports organisations to achieve growth through upskilling and reskilling strategies and instilling a culture of learning. In her 25 years in the people function, Catalina has played every role imaginable – from recruiter to HR generalist to Head of Employer Brand to Chief Learning Officer and finally to Chief People Officer. Her experience covers a wide range of industries, including SaaS, e-commerce and telco, all with extensive global footprint She worked for iconic brands (GE, T-Mobile, Vodafone) as well as for purpose-led scale-ups in the field of education technology (FutureLearn, DataCamp).
Catalina is passionate about democratising access to education and learning. She spends her free time volunteering as a School Governor and mentoring young youth, as an active member of the non-profit 1Million Mentors. She is also a Venture Partner at Emerge Educa.
Cassandra Hatton Chartered FCIPD
Cassandra is a vice chair of the Central London CIPD branch and brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience, having driven transformative change across sectors such as retail, technology, education, and not-for-profit in the UK and Australia. With a strong foundation in HR and psychology, she transitioned from HR leadership roles into broader corporate services and strategy positions, excelling in organisational growth, change, and transformation.
Previously, Cassandra served as Chief Operating Officer, she is known for her forward-thinking, engaging style, and practical approach, Cassandra excels at simplifying complexity and empowering teams to achieve exceptional results.
