About the speakers:
Elaine Greenwood
With over 40 years of dedicated service in local government and extensive experience in management and senior leadership roles, Elaine Greenwood brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to the field of personal development. Having spent 35 years in various management positions and 25 years in senior leadership roles, all within London-based Local Authorities, she has fostered a deep understanding of what it takes to inspire and empower individuals in their professional journeys.
In addition to her governmental experience, she is a certified Executive Coach with 9 years of experience, specializing in helping clients overcome low confidence, procrastination, career challenges, and relationship issues, etc
Elaine encapsulates the invaluable lessons learned throughout her multifaceted career during her coaching programmes. Her Local Council experience covers the sectors of Education and Adult Social Care specifically Mental Health, Client Financial Services and currently Direct Payments provision and understands the operational and strategic challenges that Local Authority employees have to navigate.
Her passion for coaching has fuelled her desire to share practical strategies and transformative insights with others, allowing them to navigate their paths to personal greatness. By combining her extensive leadership experience with her coaching expertise, she offers a unique perspective to those looking to unlock their potential and embrace their authentic selves.
SisDr Sandra Richards
A scholar-practitioner and author with an MA in Education and a Ph.D. for her research in education inclusion.
SisDr brings strong interpersonal and communication skills, and her work reflects values of equality and justice and the application of equitable efforts with emphasis on a cultural lens.
SisDr’s professional background includes quality assurance management, university lecturer, human resource development, performance assessment and evaluation. Her work includes serving as doctoral research Supervisor, Coach, Mentor, culturally sensitive Counsellor and featured speaker at international conferences. Her work has included Special Advisor, Boards Patronage, health institutions, local authorities, prisons, schools, and intergenerational community-based organisations.
SisDr is an accomplished author with over 35 years of working in the human resource development sector. Her experience provides considerable evidence of UK policies and practices that have had a significantly negative impact on particular communities. This includes disproportionate school exclusions, unemployment, immigration, funding failures, prison pipelines, health misdiagnosis and more.
SisDr introduces culturally sensitive concepts and methodologies intended to provide long-term paradigm shifts, develop relevant interventions and form new partnerships/collaborations to empower marginalised communities and disrupt Eurocentric norms.
The title ‘SisDr’ is her public signalling of her commitment to straddle the worlds of the researcher and the researched.
