About this event

Learn how to plan for mandatory payrolling of benefits and consider opportunities to review your employee benefits offering.

Many organisations report taxable benefits to HMRC via a P11D report at the end of the tax year. From April 2026, HMRC are removing the P11D process for benefits in kind and your payroll team will need to report benefits through the payroll software each pay period.

As a people professional you need to be planning for this change, as a minimum in relation to internal process adjustments and employee communications & guidance.

But it is also an opportunity to review your employee benefits in the wider context of your Total Reward offering, particularly when budgets are being stretched by increased wage and national insurance costs.

On this webinar we will cover:

Mandatory payrolling of benefits

  • Timing & Details
  • Changes to payroll processes
  • Implications for employee tax / take home pay and self-assessments
  • Questions to ask your payroll provider

Benefits Strategy Review

  • Understanding salary sacrifice benefits and the financial advantages for both employee and employer
  • Current and upcoming benefit trends & alignment of benefit strategy with company culture / wellbeing strategy
  • Opportunities to reduce cost & maximise value from your benefit providers

Employee Communications and Engagement

  • Planning your employee communications for mandatory payrolling
  • Using this opportunity to engage staff in their total reward package, aligned to your employee value proposition
