About this event

This session, delivered by Burnetts solicitors, will take stock of the progression and development of the Employment Rights Bill.

Join Burnetts employment team to help understand how to navigate the changes in employment law.

2024 saw the publication of The Employment Rights Bill, promising reforms to workers’ rights, including measures on ‘exploitative’ zero-hours contracts, as well as entitlement to sick pay and parental leave rights from day one of employment. The changes proposed are some of the most fundamental changes to employment legislation in the last 20 years. It is vital that employers are informed of these changes and the challenges they may face in an ever-turbulent environment.

David Gibson and Anna Lovett, from Burnetts employment team will discuss the key elements of the new proposals in employment law, examine the potential impact on employers and provide practical tips of how employers should prepare.

As always, there will be time for Q&As.
