At this event, we are joined by Sue Jennings of Geldards, who will cover the latest changes and trends in employment law and workplace.
Attendees will gain up to date knowledge of the latest changes in employment legislation giving you practical tools to ensure that your organisation remains compliant.
The Employment Rights Bill is proposing to introduce significant changes to employment law in the UK. In this session, Sue Jennings from Geldards will highlight some of the key proposals and give insights into practical solutions for preparing for those changes within your organisation.

Sue is a Senior Associate in the Employment Team at Geldards, based in Derby and Nottingham. With over 20 years’ knowledge and experience of all aspects of employment law, Sue excels at providing clear, strategic and solution focused advice on complex HR matters with experience across both the private and public sector.
Sue adopts a highly collaborative approach to support clients in achieving the best possible outcome in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Her areas of expertise include HR issues such as performance management, disciplinary and grievance matters, managing business restructure, TUPE, redundancy and dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. She is highly experienced in resolving disputes and dealing with all matters relating to contracts of employment and policies and procedure.
Renowned for delivering clear, practical training, Sue provides bespoke sessions on understanding and handling tricky employment and HR issues and helping organisations prepare for upcoming changes in the law.
Sue has been a lecturer in Employment Law for many years, was formerly Head of the Law School at the University of Derby, and is the Under Sheriff of Derbyshire, providing guidance and support to the Office of the High Sheriff of Derbyshire.
At this in person event, we are joined by Sue Jennings of Geldards, Sue will cover the latest changes and trends in employment law and workplace related legal issues. Following the introduction of the Employment Rights Bill, there is plenty to cover, and Sue will pick out the key elements and give insight into ways in which HR professionals can manage those changes within their workplace.
