Branch annual meeting, followed by guest speaker Amanda Arrowsmith on the topic of CIPD membership and future benefits and changes.

Each branch runs an annual meeting to vote in the committee members for the upcoming membership year.

Following the business of our annual meeting for the Mid and North Wales branch, we welcome once again, our speaker Amanda Arrowsmith, Chartered FCIPD who will be talking about all the changes taking place for CIPD members and the benefits and rewards that come with membership.


Speakers bio:

Amanda Arrowsmith is the People and Transformation Director at the CIPD, a role she assumed in October 2022. She has over 25 years of experience in HR across public, private, and third sectors and brings a wealth of global HR knowledge and a unique understanding of diverse organisational cultures. She is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and prior to joining the staff was a volunteer branch committee member, blogger, speaker and panel member.

Her broad expertise enables her to add value to businesses by focusing on the development of people and organisations in line with business strategy.

Amanda’s perspective on ‘people and culture’ emphasises the importance of individual stories in shaping a company’s culture and her advocacy for flexible working practices reflects her forward-thinking approach to talent management. As a speaker, she is able to deliver thought-provoking insights and tangible takeaways.
