How and why to invest in employer-supported volunteering

Join Wayne Bulpitt, Chair of the Association of Guernsey Charities, for a session focused on the importance of Employer-Supported Volunteering (ESV).

This session will explore the key elements of a successful ESV program and the value it brings to employers, employees, and the wider community. You will hear directly from the Aztec Group as they share their own ESV experiences.

Wayne will also guide HR professionals through practical steps to support ESV initiatives and discuss strategies to overcome common challenges in driving employee participation.

Speakers Bio:

Main speaker: Wayne founded the Aspida Group in 2002 and has over 40 years’ experience in creating, managing and developing financial and regulatory services from a commercial perspective. Whilst building his career, Wayne has been a passionate supporter of philanthropy and volunteering, especially in the support and development of young people. He was at the centre of the strategic leadership of the Scout Movement in the UK from 2001, overseeing its significant transformation and growth and locally has founded several charities. A highly regarded inspirational leader and philanthropist, Wayne’s significant contributions were recognised in the 2017 Birthday Honours when he was made Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his voluntary services to young people.
