About this event

This event will cover the CIPD Trust's purpose and help them better understand the social values of individuals and organisations.

This session allows participants to explore the concept of inclusivity in a creative, engaging way and to develop concrete steps toward creating a more inclusive, diverse, and equal workplace.

When we put people first, everyone stands to gain. When we tackle the barriers to work and create inclusive workplaces, we give more people the power to learn, contribute, and progress. We equip them to unleash growth, talent, and productivity in their organisations, and we create conditions for a more prosperous society. People professionals are uniquely placed to make this happen.

This session aims to inform delegates of the CIPD Trust's purpose and help them better understand the social values of individuals and organisations in the Merseyside and North Cheshire Region. It will connect people professionals, leaders, organisations, and partners to make a difference for those facing the biggest barriers to good, fair, inclusive work.

What to expect:

  • Collaborative Learning: Engage in collaborative discussions with other delegates to explore challenges and solutions related to social values and inclusive employment.
  • Shared Experiences: Hear diverse perspectives from fellow people and professionals in a confidential and safe space and learn how they tackle barriers to work and create inclusive workplaces through social value.
  • Actionable Takeaways: Leave with practical strategies for building a business case for adding social value in your organisation, including measuring success and demonstrating impact. This will ensure you stand out as a catalyst for social change and social value and make your workplace more inclusive and welcoming.
