About this event

Discover the intersection of menopause & neurodiversity. Learn strategies to create supportive, inclusive workplaces for all employees

This presentation will explore the intersection of menopause and neurodiversity, focusing on their implications for workplace inclusivity and employee well-being. Menopause is a natural phase of life that can bring physiological and psychological changes, while neurodiversity encompasses variations in how individuals think, learn, and process information. Both can influence workplace experiences, with unique challenges arising when they overlap.

The 90 minute session will highlight how menopause symptoms, such as memory issues and fatigue, may intersect with neurodivergent traits like heightened sensory sensitivity or executive function challenges. Attendees will gain insights into fostering an inclusive environment that supports employees managing these experiences. Practical suggestions around reasonable adjustments, policy development, and fostering open communication will be discussed.

By addressing these intersections, you can promote a supportive culture, enhance employee retention, and ensure your organisation remains progressive and inclusive.
