About this event

The workshop offers a chance to review case studies, including scenarios related to the Worker Protection Bill

Effectively managing conversations quickly is one of the best methods to prevent workplace issues escalating. The workshop offers a chance to review case studies, including scenarios related to the Worker Protection Bill, giving you a chance to embed your learning or refresher.

The fear of having potentially challenging conversations can prevent us from taking them forward, leading to growing issues that are harder to fix.

One of the best ways to prevent issues developing in the workplace is to effectively manage conversations in a timely fashion.

In this interactive online event, we will benefit from Grant Shackleton's, from Chattertons, experience and will discuss:

· the type of conversations that may be challenging, and why

· why conversations are considered challenging

· how to prepare for conversations

· tools to manage difficult conversations

· when to use mediation

· the connection to the upcoming Worker Protection Bill, preventing sexual harassment in the workplace

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to discuss case studies embedding the learning so that you can apply what you've learnt in your workplace and get the best results possible out of difficult conversations.
