About this event

Come learn how HR experts are making a real impact on society!

This event is being run in collaboration with the CIPD Branch in Black Country Branch and the CIPD Branch in Hereford and Worcester.

This is an opportunity to attend an overview event of the CIPD Trust. Attendees will understand more about what the CIPD Trust is all about, how they’re working with the People Profession to make a difference and what opportunities there are for individuals and organisations to get involved. If you want to know more, are struggling with recruitment or simply want to learn how you can support people who experience barriers getting into employment, this would be a great event to come along to.

Guest speaker's profile: Leah De Silva Senior Programme Manager, CIPD Trust

Leah says: “I engage with our network of Senior People Leaders to use their skills, insights and expertise in a variety of settings: as speakers, mentors, coaches, contributors and change-makers – in a bid to create a more representative People Profession, and support more people get in and get on in work. I love making connections and chairing discussions, giving platforms to diverse voices. Outside of work, previously a trustee driving greater representation in the Arts and Culture space.”
