Louisa Haberstroh - Global HR Manager, CIPD
Louisa is the Global HR Manager at CIPD, where she leads the development and execution of a people strategy that drives performance, fosters a thriving culture, and empowers teams across the UK and international portfolio. Passionate about coaching and leadership development, Louisa specialises in building high-performing teams by cultivating capability, credibility, and confidence. Her approach focuses on inspiring and motivating individuals, fostering a strong sense of community, and embedding a culture of continuous growth and excellence.
Charles Cotton, Senior Policy Adviser, Reward , CIPD
Charles Cotton is a senior CIPD adviser. He directs its reward research agenda and is also responsible for the CIPD's public policy work around pay and benefits.
He frequently appears in the media commentating on reward and is often invited to speak about compensation and benefits issues at events.

Professor Jamie Macdonald, Bangor University
Jamie is a Professor in Sport and Exercise Science, School of Psychology and Sport Science, Bangor University. The primary focus of his research and impact activities is the use of physical activity to prevent and treat chronic disease. More details here.
Andrew Cooper, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board
Andrew is Head of the Avoidable Employee Harm programme in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and leads the ‘Improving Employee Investigations’ work across NHS Wales at Health Education and Improvement Wales. He is also leading a programme of research exploring the impact of the disciplinary process on individuals and organisations.
With a background in healthcare improvement and innovation, he has held senior communications roles across the private, public and third sectors. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Public Relations for his contribution to healthcare communications and is an honorary research fellow with the University of Plymouth.
Dr Adrian Neal, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board
Adrian is Head of the Employee Wellbeing Service in Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, which comprises a psychological therapy service, support for teams and systems, innovation, research and development and Aneurin Bevan Wellbeing, an external consultancy service.
He is a member of the British Psychological Society and a recent chair of its Leadership and Management Faculty, as well as past chair of the Division of Clinical Psychology, Wales. He is an honorary research fellow with Cardiff University and the University of Plymouth.
Mike Learmond is Senior Development Manager for the Federation of Small Businesses in Wales, with particular responsibility for North Wales.
FSB is the UK's largest campaigning pressure group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms. FSB is non-profit making and non-party political and supports its members through a comprehensive range of member benefits that are designed to save members money and protect against tax and legal problems.
Mike is responsible for ensuring that the needs of small businesses in the region are maintained as a high priority on the political agenda and also to signpost FSB members on where to obtain help when they need it. He is spokesperson and first point of contact for FSB in North Wales and his role includes lobbying politicians on behalf of smaller businesses, dealing with the media, representing the FSB at various groups and events and supporting an army of volunteers who organise everything from networking evenings to political debates for FSB members throughout the region.
Moneyworks: Supporting Financial Wellbeing in the Workplace
Moneyworks, an award-winning payroll service offering ethical savings and loans, is making waves across Wales by championing financial wellbeing in the workplace. As the leading umbrella organisation for the country’s top financial cooperatives, Moneyworks is funded by the Welsh Government and is committed to helping both individuals and employers take charge of their financial health.
Sandy Highfield, Development Officer at Moneyworks, brings a wealth of experience from both the corporate and social enterprise sectors. Having previously managed hotels and worked within the third sector, Sandy understands firsthand the profound impact financial stress can have on employees. “Moneyworks is dedicated to supporting staff financial wellbeing,” says Sandy. “We collaborate with organisations to help employers prioritise the financial health of their workforce. A key part of our mission is educating employees about the critical differences between good and bad credit.”
Having seen the devastating effects of debt, Sandy is passionate about spreading awareness and offering practical solutions. At the upcoming CIPD event, Moneyworks will address the vital topics of Debt Relief Orders (DROs) and Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVAs). Moneyworks empowers both employers and employees to take control before debt spirals out of control.

Nic has more than 20 years experience in Learning and Development; as Head of Learning Centre, Middle East & Africa region for LG, and Group Head of L & D for a luxury retailer, while stationed in Dubai for 8 years. Nic returned to the UK and retrained in various wellness methodologies that helped her with burnout, and set up 'Inspire -Rewire' in 2015, providing coaching, therapy, running public retreats, and corporate team away days/ leadership residential retreats.
During the pandemic in 2020, businesses were calling out for a combination of corporate and wellness and this is where Nic's 2-worlds became 1. Nic returned full circle to supporting leaders with the aftermath, specialising in team dynamics, conflict resolution, and mindset development, thereby, drawing back engagement and genuine wellness within organisations.

She has a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Executive Coaching and a Masters in Organisational Development and Change. Throughout her career, she has designed and delivered significant programmes of change from the introduction of large-scale wellbeing initiatives, the development of organisation wide leadership programmes and the design and implementation of coaching cultures.
