Meet the speakers:
Louise Parr - Regional Employment Lead - North West
Louise collaborates with public and private prisons to develop comprehensive employment strategies that enhance opportunities for prison leavers. By working closely with national and regional employers, Louise helps address skills gaps, create sustainable employment pathways, and improve life choices for prison leavers. This work facilitates their reintegration into society and contributes to reducing reoffending rates.
Emma Kelly - Prison Employment Lead
Emma is devoted to transforming lives by assisting prison leavers in securing meaningful employment. Through job searching, CV writing, confidence building, and application support, she equips them with the tools they need to succeed. She also helps with vital steps such as obtaining an ID and setting up a bank account, ensuring a fresh start.
As a former prison officer, Emma witnessed the challenges of those leaving prison. Now, she is committed to providing them with the support, skills, and confidence to overcome barriers and build a brighter future.
