About this event

Current and recent students will walk through their own lived experiences, sharing the benefits and challenges of study alongside working.

As part of Careers Week, and in recognition of International Womens Day, themed ‘Accelerate Action’, we are hosting an event targeted at students and people interested in starting a career in HR and people management.

In this session, current and recent students will walk through their own lived experiences, sharing the benefits and challenges of study . Whether you are looking at level 3 or level 5, in person, on-line or through the apprenticeship route, you will find out what to expect and decide what is the best route for you.

Next steps after completing your studies…we’ve got that covered – with speakers from different stages in the People Management Career Pathway we will share our experiences, and demystify the role behind the job title.

What will be covered in the session...

  • Introduction to the People Profession and different membership levels
  • Different routes to membership for example certification, apprenticeship, assessment route
  • From qualifications and into practice
