Student Event – HR Consulting Careers in Action

About this event

CIPD students are invited to this virtual event to gain insights from experienced HR consultants and tackle a real-life HR case scenario.

Join us for an interactive virtual evening where you will gain insights into HR consulting careers as a CIPD student. Whether you are early on in your HR career or a career changer, this event will support you in understanding the typical work of a HR consultant and enable you to have your questions answered.

What can you expect from this event?

• An introduction to a ‘day in the life’ of a HR consultant with two visiting speakers, with Q&A.
• An opportunity to undertake a HR consulting case scenario in small teams with other CIPD students. This segment of the event will be interactive and involve short presentations based on your findings.

Who should attend?

Anyone studying a CIPD qualification who is keen to explore a career in HR consulting, gain insights, and build connections.

Please note:

1. Webinar joining instructions will be sent to you again 1 day before the event, with a further reminder, 20 minutes prior to the event starting.
2. The session may be recorded and shared with people afterwards. Please bear this in mind and have your camera off if you do not wish for your image to be shared.
3. The chat function will be used for participants to engage with the webinar, so just be mindful of the login name you use and ensure you are happy for other people to see this.
4. For security reasons, it is requested that participants join the live session 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time and with the same name as registered on Eventbrite as not doing so may cause a delay or non-admittance to the event.

6. Please note that refunds for CIPD Non-Member tickets will only be available until 7 days prior to the event, any cancelled tickets after this will not receive a refund.
