Sarah John - MBA

Sarah is a Director of Apprenticeship Learning Solutions Ltd (ALS), part of ACT Training and Cardiff and Vale College Group; Sarah established ALS in 2001 with her business partner, delivering Employability and Apprenticeship programmes, including Data Analytics, Professional and Financial Services.


Sarah’s role includes development of innovative learning solutions for employers and learners linked to Welsh Government priorities..


Sarah completed her role as Chair of the National Training Federation for Wales (NTFW); Sarah remains a board member of NTFW and sits on the Wales Apprenticeship Advisory Board (WAAB), the Welsh Government’s CQFW committee, the Qualifications Wales Vocational Stakeholder Group and the West Wales RSP Skills forum.

Fiona Argent – FCIPD


Fiona Argent has over 30 years’ experience in the post-16 education sector, and is currently Director of Delivery for ALS training. Fiona has also worked in the HE sector for 10 years, and led the Universities Work based Learning strategy, managing it’s Centre for Work based Learning, and has extensive knowledge and experience is in the design and delivery of employer led learning solutions and national project implementation. Fiona has been a Chartered Fellow of the Institute for 20 years and has also been an Investors in People Advisor.
