About this event

This online event will explore ways in which employers and volunteers view each other when it comes to L&D activities and support.

The aim will be to challenge perceptions, identify opportunities, and dispel myths about the L&D investment in volunteers. With reference to case studies, CIPD principles, and input from speakers with direct experience, you will leave the event with practical suggestions as to what you and your organisation might do differently, to achieve a win-win outcome.

Guest Speakers:

  • Adrian Murtagh, Head of Strategic Business Development, Volunteer Scotland
  • Amanda Arrowsmith, People & Transformation Director, CIPD
  • Rebecca Normand, EAPM Secretariat Lead, CIPD

Both of our guest speakers have first-hand experience of the Investing in Volunteers national quality standard and will make reference this this during the event.
