Guest speaker's profiles:
Harriet Wood is a HR Graduate for a global data & technology organisation. In 2023, she graduated from Nottingham Trent University, with a First Class degree in BA (Hons) Business Management and Human Resources. Harriet has also received her CIPD Associate Level 5 qualification. With experience in Talent & Culture, Talent Acquisition & HR Business Development, Harriet is passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals and positively impacting the HR profession.
Jess Jones is Director of People for a commercial organisation that delivers solutions to the public sector; Jess leads the People Team who enable 1800 employees in 28 brands to deliver for our customers across the education, environment, energy and talent industries, and more. Since Jess began her career in HR over 10 years ago as an HR Graduate, she’s had experience in all elements of HR in changing and growing organisations. From Generalist HR, to HR Operations, to Business Partnering, to Talent, to Communications and Engagement. She completed her Level 5 early in her career via DPG, and achieved a distinction in her Masters degree in HRM from Nottingham Trent in 2022. Jess loves what she does for a living, and wants to help others to also thrive at work, so if sharing her story to date helps other HR professionals she is keen to do so!
