At this in-person session, Laura Callahan will equip us with the knowhow to identify common forms of unconscious bias in the hiring process, such as affinity bias, confirmation bias, and the halo effect, and provide practical tools and strategies to minimize these biases. You will learn how to explore and engage with diverse candidate pools and broaden their reach. The session will also guide you in evaluating your own recruitment processes, helping to pinpoint areas for improvement and develop actionable plans to foster equity, diversity, and inclusion throughout your hiring practices.
