Overview of recent and anticipated employment legislation and a review of the latest decisions of interest to HR and business professionals.

The CIPD Branch in Merseyside and North Cheshire is delighted to be teaming up once again with Emlyn Williams from Weightmans Solicitors to present an online seminar that will be highly relevant for HR and business professionals.

The session will focus on an overview of recent and anticipated employment legislation, and a review of the latest decisions of interest to HR and business professionals, including the new Employment Rights Bill.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions during the event.


Emlyn Williams

Emlyn Williams is a partner and employment lawyer with over 30 years of experience.

Emlyn is a well-respected advocate in both the Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeals Tribunal. He specialises in all aspects of employment law, with particular interests in whistleblowing, discrimination, and TUPE.

Emlyn also has a strong track record in delivering innovative training programmes. He regularly undertakes bespoke in-house training for various bodies including multi-national companies, the NHS, ACAS, CIPD, and other professional groups.
