About this event

Explore how life and work clutter affects us—its types, impact, and ways it shapes our well-being and productivity.

We live in a world of too much. We are overwhelmed by the sheer volume of everything, be it the amount of stuff in our home or office, the stuff that we are holding in our brain, or the emotional clutter that we carry around with us. The clutter gets in the way of everything, so being able to see it and reduce it is what will create space for the big stuff.

There is a lot of material already available in the area of physical de-cluttering, but I take this concept to the professional workplace and address other areas of clutter that are less visible. I have developed a powerful model that looks at clutter through 3 pillars. Only by noticing all our clutter can we start seeing our distractions and what takes us away from focusing on the bigger picture, what truly matters to us.

Key takeaways:

1. a model of how to make sense of the busy-ness and the messy world

2. a fresh view of what is interfering with your attention and focus

3. new awareness of what might get in the way of doing your best work

4. an understanding of the value that de-cluttering will have both

5. steps of how to break through this clutter
