About this event

Hear from the Cumberland’s People & Culture team on how they support and promote a positive people experience during times of change.

The team will talk through how their specialisms work together to provide a rounded, positive people experience at each stage of the employee journey.

We’ll split the agenda into three key topic areas:

Our culture and engagement:

Gain insights into our internal engagement survey, what the data tells us, and how we use it to support our work with teams across the business.

Developing our people and leaders:

How we’ve developed our L&D offering and shifted from control and command to empathy and empowerment.

Wellbeing:

How our culture has informed our wellbeing strategy, including what we do and how we do it.

There will be the opportunity for conversation, Q&A, and sharing insights into each area.

Speakers bio:

The People and Culture function has grown and developed from a team of six in 2019, to nearly 20 in 2025. With specialists in HR, attraction, reward and benefits, L&D, engagement & internal comms, wellbeing, and people operations, the team works together to support and promote a great people experience across the business.
