Managing change and succession planning in diverse, hybrid workplaces
In this interactive session, Dr Alexander Kofinas Head of the Graduate School of Business for the University of Bedfordshire, will take us through good practice succession planning in diverse and hybrid workplaces.
He has applied his considerable learning from research into the practicalities of dealing with rapid change in higher education. Earlier research on innovation in multi-national companies and other organisations, will be used to provide good practice examples in building change through succession planning taking account of equality, diversity and inclusion.
He will share examples of organisations dealing with anxieties and using experiential learning to move forward. This will be an interactive session, discussing practical examples as well as sharing good ideas for positive improvements for people professionals at work. No recording will be made, ensuring a safe and open space for professional dialogue.

About the speaker
Dr Alexander Kofinas
Dr Alexander Kofinas is Head of the Graduate School of Business for the University of Bedfordshire. His highly distributed department runs courses in Luton and on international partner sites.
In previous roles he taught graduate students about strategy, research methods, and international business. As an educator and research academic, he gained benefits from his three acquired cultures, British, Greek, and Japanese. His focus is on qualitative research methods in leadership and strategy. He has ensured his work with organisations benefits his students by engaging them in enterprise activities for their future careers.
