CIPD students: Boost your wellbeing and future career! Learn to manage stress, build resilience, and thrive as you study HR.
This event will help CIPD students understand how to manage stress, build resilience, and support wellbeing as they study in HR and prepare for their future careers as HR practitioners or organisational leaders.
A 2025 report on the state of the global workforce by research firm Gallup reveals that 41% of British workers experience daily stress, while 26% report high levels of sadness. How can modern people leaders prepare to address this challenge? Whether you want to stay ahead of trends in mental well-being or are navigating your own stress, this hands-on session is for you.
Join UCLA-trained mindfulness educator and mental health advocate Rachel Kanarowski for a fast-paced virtual event that challenges traditional approaches to “self-care” and explores why many well-being activities fail as we approach burnout. Learn how to recognise the warning signs of chronic stress in yourself and your team, apply mindfulness techniques as stress first-aid, and create a detailed self-care plan before burnout strikes.
