About this event

Ahead of World Mental Health Day (10 Oct), join our event on financial wellbeing—because mental and financial health go hand in hand.

Mental and financial wellbeing are inextricably linked. As part of World Mental Health day 2025, this session will look at the impact of both poor financial resilience and of financial exclusion on the UK workforce - and how employers are uniquely positioned to help.

One in three frontline workers are financially excluded, lacking access to useful and affordable financial products that many take for granted. Yet despite this widespread issue, many employers have yet to address financial exclusion.

The UK is experiencing a savings crisis: one in four adults has less than £100 in savings. This leaves staff vulnerable to changes in circumstances (such as relationships) and unable to absorb unexpected expenses, whilst also making it difficult to plan for the future.

With actionable insights, employers can play an important role in empowering staff to build resilience, through tools such as payroll savings, whilst offering equal access to affordable financial tools to reduce exclusion

Join us ahead of world mental health day to:

  • Explore the link between mental and financial wellbeing
  • Understand financial exclusion and the UK's saving crisis
  • Learn how financial stress affects workforce resilience and planning
  • Discover practical tools for your organisation
  • Gain actionable insights to support employee wellbeing and reduce exclusion

We look forward to seeing you there.
