This session will provide real-life experiences and approaches to help HR leaders to build their own way into true strategic influence and impact.

Asad Husain (4 x CPO) and Deborah Wilkes (CEO of Enable-HR International) will share their strategic insights on HR transformation in a conversation style / format with full interaction / Q&A.

How it can feel when you become the HRD / CPO, and the scope of the challenge

Understanding what the CEO and the Board want from you

Getting under the skin of the business

Inviting feedback from the business – and from your own team – on what HR’s priorities need to be

Managing that feedback – using it to get business leaders on board, and to win acceptance and co-operation from your own team

Assessing the capabilities of your team and making decisions about the operating model and roles

Leading and communicating as you move forward.

About the Speaker:

Asad will share how he navigated new roles, built robust relationships with business leaders and led HR teams through to new levels of performance and Deborah will share learning from client projects as well as her own HR career.
