About this event

Chris Maddock and Amy Sergison of Muckle LLP will deliver a session on managing change for HR professionals.

2025 looks set to bring about significant change for employers in the UK. Employers need to deal with with increasing National Insurance and National Minimum Wage costs alongside planning for the changes that will follow from the Employment Rights Bill as further details continue to emerge on these new provisions over the coming months.

Many employers are already considering the impact of the upcoming changes with many exploring options to change the structure of their organisations, including changing their people structure and reducing headcount. Change management in terms of redundancies and restructures seems inevitable.

In this practical session, Chris Maddock and Amy Sergison will take us over the basics of redundancy (collective and individual), restructuring and changing terms and conditions of employment. The session will be suitable for those with HR experience at all levels from beginners through to those with more experience who would like to refresh their knowledge on managing change from an HR perspective.

Venue: (Damson Room) J36 Rural Auction Centre, Crooklands, Milnthorpe, Cumbria, LA7 7FP (SatNav: LA7 7NU)
