Neurodiversity culture building for people of all ages, races, genders and other protected characteristics

About this event

Neurodiversity culture building for people of all ages, races, genders and other protected characteristics

This interactive session, sharing good ideas for positive improvements, will take account of intersectionality when improving good work processes to include neurodiverse staff. In today’s diverse workplace, fostering a culture which embraces neurodiversity is essential not only for inclusivity but also for driving innovation and performance.

This presentation, tailored for people professionals and CIPD members, delves into the importance of understanding neurodiversity through an intersectional lens —one which spans across age, race, gender, and other protected characteristics. We will challenge common stereotypes, emphasising that neurodiversity is not confined to any single demographic, but is a rich, intersectional phenomenon which is prevalent across the workplace.

Key outcomes:

· challenge and dispel common stereotypes about neurodiversity

· explore case studies for implementing neurodiversity initiatives which embrace intersectionality

· learn actionable strategies to build and sustain a workplace culture which values and support neurodiverse employees
