We have an amazing line up of speakers who will explore how you can support employees to feel valued in the workplace.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at our EDI event that will focus on Neurodiversity inclusion and understanding.
This will be an informal, free flowing conversational event with the panel. We do not intend to provide presentations, and the event aims to be a practical talking session covering significant key points to support neuroinclusive workplaces.
With an incredible line up of panel speakers, we aim to:

10.30 - Panel begins
11.30 - Breakout tables (subject to time and space constraints)
12.00 – Event ends, though people may continue conversations or networking
12.30 – Event end
Attendees are welcome to send any questions or requests they may have in advance to thames@cipdbranch.co.uk.
We do ask that if you register and your plans change that you, please do let us know so that we can release your ticket to someone on our waiting list.
Note that should the event sell out, we may open up some free-standing places, therefore a seat at the event may not be guaranteed and seats will be available on a first come first served basis.

Ed Jervis, Owner & EDI Consultant – Inclusion Crowd
Ed’s passion for social justice was shaped by growing up in Northern Ireland during the height of the troubles. As a gay catholic, he has first hand experience of the challenges of inequality, prejudice and conflict which drives his commitment.
Ed is the CEO of Inclusion Crowd, a global EDI Consultancy, supporting organisations of all sizes with their inclusion strategy, recruitment practices and creating cultures that truly embody psychological safety.
Receiving a later in life ADHD diagnosis, Ed has been on a journey to open more of himself to the world and demonstrate a true commitment to making the world a more inclusive and open place.
Elizabeth Wright, Owner – Admin & More Inclusive VA Services
A dedicated advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in the workplace.
With a comprehensive understanding of the Access to Work programme, Elizabeth has successfully navigated this initiative to support individuals with disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary tools and adjustments to thrive in their roles.
As the leader of a team of Virtual Assistants at Admin and More, Elizabeth oversees work placements designed to provide meaningful and supportive environments for individuals.
Her commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace is reflected in her tailored approach to each placement.
Elizabeth’s work is driven by her belief in the potential of every individual. She works closely with businesses to create supportive frameworks that allow neurodiverse employees to excel, providing both practical assistance and advocacy. Her expertise in this area has made her a trusted partner for organisations looking to enhance their inclusivity practices.
Jamie Douglas, Neurodiversity Lead – Response
Jamie Douglas is a senior manager at Response and has been with the organisation for over 5 years.
In particular he leads on projects focused on embedding youth work and social prescribing approaches to mental health and wellbeing.
He is also a lead and advocate for neurodiversity within the workplace.
Prior to working for Response, he worked for the YMCA and for 12 years as a Secondary School teacher teaching English and leading on pastoral support matters. He has a degree in American Studies and a Masters in English and Language in Education as well as a PGCE.
Sherry White, Owner, HR & H&S Consultant – Oxford People Solutions
Sherry is a small business consultant, covering HR, Operations, Health & Safety and even Sustainability, with a huge passion for people centric cultures, delivered in an efficient and pragmatic way. Easy to follow and guided by ethical practice. With a background in running small businesses for others, Sherry made the leap to Consulting in 2023 and hasn’t looked back!
With many a story of HR battles and leadership woes, Sherry strives to work with organisations who truly want to grow their profit through understanding that the right people practices will drive your business growth like nothing else.
Sherry also always felt a bit “different”, unconventional, you would say. A late in life diagnosis of Autism made some sense of that, and a pending diagnosis of ADHD really hit home.
Something that can be difficult to talk about, and the reason Sherry will be hosting this event. To help others understand the challenges they may see in themselves, their colleagues, or even their loved ones.
Tameron Chappell, Chartered Occupational Psychologist - Athinka Limited
Tameron works with organisations to understand and develop team dynamics, motivation and supports those teams to achieve business objectives.
Supporting leaders to identify what it is they want to be known for and how they want to show up each day. Tameron has a variety of tools under her belt such as coaching, psychometrics and psychodynamic approaches to get the best out of teams.
Tameron also supports organisations with Diversity & Inclusion audits, business transformation and succession planning.
Fay Taylor, Learning & Development, People Development Advisor - UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology
Fay is the People Development Advisor at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology (UKCEH) and part of a small team who drive equality, equity, diversity and inclusion within UKCEH whilst striving for the topic to be one that is progressed by all.
The UKCEH have been on a journey to improve their inclusion and wellbeing within the organisation. Fay and the team have been a pivotal part of this journey and are passionate about creating an environment where people can be their true selves in the workplace and feel valued for who they are.
Fay will be sharing her perspective and tips on what that journey has been like to implement, and to witness.
