In this session attendees will receive insights on the learnings taken from the employment law introductions and changes so far this year, plus some introductions still to come from Harriet. This will be followed by details of what is expected from the new Labour government 'Make Work Pay' initiative and how businesses can prepare for that from the team at Bridge.

Harriet regularly supports employers with day-to-day employment law and HR issues including complex investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Harriet specialises in Employment Tribunal claims and has particular experience in multifaceted, complex, cases including allegations relating to unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. Harriet takes great pride in assisting her clients to find strategic and cost-effective solutions, which often includes managing associated press attention and protecting against reputational risk.

Lee Stephens heads up the BRIDGE team. He has practiced as a specialist employment Solicitor for almost 20 years now, formerly as a Partner with a leading UK law firm Lee advises SME’s to PLCs and he has a wealth of experience in successfully helping businesses with all aspects of employment law from the day to day to complex reorganizations, TUPE, senior executive removals and disputes through to Tribunal too.
Georgina is an Associate Director at Bridge. She covers all areas of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious acting for SMEs across the UK, Georgina also undertakes business immigration work too.
Shaun is a senior lawyer with over 30 years’ experience handling all areas of employment law both for employers and employees, including investigations, internal procedures and all related issues, settlement agreement, exits, restrictive covenants, TUPE transfers and a wide range of Tribunal proceeding.
