Following the success of our yearly Burnetts Employment Law Updates – they are back with their next Employment Law Update and this time the theme is ABBA.

In another interactive and engaging event, this session will cover:

· Emerging case law (linked to your favourite ABBA songs)

· Recent and upcoming legal developments

· A compare and contrast with the Scandinavian working model – are there lessons we can learn?

· What are the limiting factors for women in the workplace – the daily challenges women continue to face and how this can be improved

· A guest speaker – on the importance of becoming a Disability Confident employer

This is a FREE employment law update with lunch included but please bring your own flares and singing voice! You will be sure to leave a Dancing Queen!

Employment law is a fast-evolving field and one which is essential as HR professionals, business owners and line managers, to stay up to date with evolving trends, legal developments and risk areas. Furthermore, identifying areas in your organisation where improvements can be made can help promote employee wellbeing, increase profits and drive economic growth – “money, money, money”!

Alongside keeping you updated on the law and recent cases; this session will provide an insight into what benefits the Scandinavian work-life model can bring and what more employers should be doing to allow the same access to employment and associated benefits to women as there are available to men.

Who should attend? HR Managers, HR Business Partners, HR Assistants, Operations and Production Managers who engage with people management issues, and anyone with people responsibility across an organisation.
