About this event

CIPD members sharing reasons why upgrading to Chartered Member and Fellow will enhance your career progression

The CIPD Branch in Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes continues to work with members on encouraging upgrading to Chartered membership. Our Membership Engagmenet Lead, Dr Janice Johnson invites all branch members who have not yet upgraded to share in the personal stories of branch members who have achieved career progression through becoming Chartered Members and Fellows.

Chartered Members and Fellows will be encouraged to share their positive stories while ensuring that questions can be asked by attendees.

  • Learn how to enhance your credibility, relevance and professionalism in a competitive market through upgrading your membership.
  • Use this opportunity to meet recently upgraded members and ask those questions which explore the reasons preventing you from taking that next important step.

Attendees will gain takeaway tips during this CPD session for improving their principles led, evidence based and outcomes driven activities which should include upgrading.

This evening’s workshop features as a part of CIPD Continuing Professional Development because participants will:

  • learn about the positive outcomes for people professionals gaining Chartered Membership
  • understand the potential for personal and professional development
  • hear about upgrading experiences, challenges and plans
