Steven Tallach from the Department of Enterprise will be talking through the forthcoming changes in employment legislation.
The Department for Enterprise is scheduling the introduction of new employment legislation for 1st April 2025. In addition and separate to the changes coming in there are also new proposals that the Dept intends to consult on over the summer.
The CIPD Branch in the Isle of Man has an important role as the local HR community to help shape the future of employment legislation on the Island and the Dept of Enterprise would like to engage with us to seek our views. Historically the consultations that the Dept opens up, have fairly low response rates.
The Branch, working in collaboration with Steven Tallach from the Dept of Enterprise, would like invite you to attend our next event. Steven will talk us and go through the forthcoming changes and the next consultation round.
This is a great opportunity for us to hear about the changes and the consultation ahead of it going public and more importantly, for us to contribute and to give our views as local HR professionals that may influence the legislation of the future.
