Kate White

I have worked in commercial recruitment since 2005. I started in the payroll department and worked my way up to running successful commercial recruitment branches. After having my son, I then had a complete change of direction and trained to be a primary school teacher, of which I spent seven happy years! However, the buzz of recruitment never left me, so I returned to the profession in 2021. After three more years as a Senior Consultant with a STEM recruitment company, I set up a packaging industry vertical with a brilliant technical recruiter who had the same work ethic, goals, and crazy sense of humour! It was at this point, that it became clear it was time for Dianne and I to step out on our own and forge a new brand that we would be really proud of within the industry that we love. We strongly believe that my commercial recruitment background and Dianne’s technical knowledge puts us ahead of our competitors in terms of understanding clients and candidates’ aspirations and needs. We work well together and cover both packaging and FMCG technical and sales/commercial positions. We are both so excited to see what the future brings for us at Artemis.

Dianne Foster

I’ve been a recruiter for nearly 22 years. I started in the industry as an office manager for a specialist print & packaging search consultancy and fell in love with both packaging as an industry and recruitment as a potential career path. I was very fortunate to cut my teeth in the job within a small but highly experienced team and this is where I gained the basis of my knowledge within technical roles.

Working my way up from trainee consultant on the technical side of the industry, I gained a lot of experience in manufacturing, production, design, and engineering type roles from shop floor to senior management level. By the time I had been with the company for 17 years, I was ready for a new challenge but couldn’t bring myself to completely leave the packaging sector behind. After four more years as a senior consultant within a STEM recruitment environment, I found myself working alongside a brilliant sales recruiter who had the same work ethic, goals, and slightly crazy sense of humour as myself. It was at this point, that it became clear it was time for Kate White and I to step out on our own and forge a new brand that we would be really proud of within the Industry that we love. We work well together and cover both technical and sales/commercial positions.
