This is an opportunity to attend an In Discussion with a Barrister; Nicholas Kennan who frequently is involved in employment matters.

This will be an informative evening, with Nick answering questions which have been posed in advance by members.

Members are invited to ask questions through the Eventbrite booking form, which will be posed to Nick throughout the event, covering as many questions as possible in the time available.

About the speaker - Nicholas Kennan

Nicholas is a barrister at Cornwall Street Chambers in Birmingham with a civil, employment and regulatory practice.He has acted for both employees and employers in the employment tribunal in claims of unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing.

Although content to represent either party in an employment tribunal claim, Nicholas has generally acted for more employers; he is able to assist HR consultants or in-house HR managers by clarifying the law in an area which is constantly changing and advising on the commercial management of tribunal claims.

Nicholas also has experience of interim relief applications, settlement agreements, TUPE and advising employers in equal pay claims.
