We are looking at the Gold Standard of corporate wellbeing incl. Guidance and building resilience in day to day lives as HR professionals.
Attendees can expect to learn about corporate wellbeing initiatives from an organisation who have led the way in wellbeing, how senior leaders and all of us can learn to build resilience through everyday adventures and how HR leaders can look after themselves in order to look after others. This will be an interactive and fun session!
About the speakers:
Lucy Critchley, HR Advisor from Organix
Lucy has almost 25 years in HR and has been with Organix over 10 years where she has managed their Wake up to Wellbeing programme.
Lucy will be outlining how the Organix wellbeing programme has evolved over the last 10 years, from a stand-alone programme to being an integral part of their people and business strategy flexible working, mental health awareness with the programme having continuous development of support, focussing on some of the major challenges that may affect people such as menopause, pregnancy loss and suicide prevention.
Nicki Bass, Resilience Work
Nicki Bass is an Occupational and Business Psychologist with specific expertise in team and leader development.
Having spent 18 years as an officer in the British Army, she combines theoretical knowledge with lived experience as a leader in the most high-pressured environments. She is a TEDx speaker and host of The Everyday Adventure Podcast and is passionate about encouraging others to build resilience by living more adventurously in their everyday lives.
Nicki will be speaking about resilience and how we can build it up using everyday adventures and how you can incorporate these into your day to day life. She will be asking the audience to be interactive!
Marion Hewitt, Protea Solutions
Marion is a Fellow of the CIPD and has a MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. She is an accredited trainer with Mental Health First Aid England, an assessor for level 7 HR qualifications, and an award-winning coach.
In this section Marion will share recent data about levels of stress and burnout experienced by People Professionals, then discuss the vital importance of ensuring we look after ourselves to have the resources to do all the things we want to do – many of which involve supporting other people.
In a section from her popular Self-Care Power Hour, this participative element of the event will provide some ideas, information, and simple actions to take for wellbeing. There will be an opportunity for discussion and reflection with attendees leaving with a clear and realistic plan.
