Effective Marketing for Consultants - Thinking like a brand
Think Brand, Not Business
Emotions can be your biggest weapon when marketing your services.
When you think about your business as a business, you tend to use the rational part of your brain, giving people rational reasons why they should buy your products and/or services. But when you think about your business as a brand, you are engaging with the emotional part of your brain, and you can start to work out what emotions your customers are experiencing during the decision-making process.
Giles will explain how creating a brand for your business will help you to connect with your clients better, turning them into advocates for your brand, selling your business for you. You will understand how thinking like a brand will increase the clarity and confidence that you, and your clients, have in your business.

Speaker: Giles Etherington
Giles Etherington runs Brand Satellite, a multi-award-winning brand consultancy, with clients across the UK. Giles helps purpose-driven small businesses to think, look and act like big brands, giving them and their customers clarity and confidence in their business. Through his 3-stage process – Brand Creation, Branding, Brand Communication - he helps small businesses and entrepreneurs who have either never thought about their business as a brand before or are not making the most of the brand they have. Giles has 20 years of big brand experience, but also understands what it is like to start and grow a small business. Giles finds having a massive impact on a small business is much more rewarding than having a small impact on a massive brand.
