Featuring employment law updates from Catherine Toomer from York Job Centre and Marie Horner of ALT Legal.
The event will commence with networking at 09:30 giving attendees a chance to meet up with other local HR professionals and businesses and chat informally to our expert speakers.
Catherine Toomer, Disability Employment Adviser will open at 10:00 giving attendees a chance to learn in depth about working with people with long term health and the Access to Work schemes which can provide funds to help individuals with the cost of reasonable adjustments, support or specialist equipment.
Marie Horner of ALT Legal will then commence the Employment Law Update on current topics including Labour’s New Deal for Working People and disability discrimination at approximately 11:00. The event is estimated to conclude at around midday.
