About this event

The key to unlocking the potential of your People” Retaining and engaging your people and creating a great place to work

Having worked with businesses across Yorkshire and the Humber now for over 30 years, Michelle will share her experience and stories, including the highs and lows of what it takes to build a truly engaged team. She will provide some insights into what engages a team and the 10 key focus areas needed to create a great culture and a place to work that everyone can be proud of.

With the current recruitment challenges, focus on people becomes ever more important. With the cost of replacing an employee now equating to 12-18 months of their salary, businesses cannot afford to lose their key talent. We are also navigating challenging times with multiple generations in the workplace, people needing to have more purpose at work and seeking flexibility. And with 62% of people leaving managers (rather than the business), developing our future managers and leaders has never been more important.

Guest speaker: Michelle Mook

Michelle Mook from Pro-Development will share her ideas on how to increase the capability and potential of the people you work with and will provide some insights into what engages a team, the importance of providing a voice and the impacts that good engagement has on recruitment, attendance, progression and organisational success.
