About this event

Using your apprenticeship Levy to get the most out of your apprenticeship training provider

The Session

What can the apprenticeship levy be used for? The apprenticeship levy is so much more than a tax. It's an opportunity to invest in, train and upskill new or existing employees with industry-leading programmes, using a fund that can be put towards the costs of training and End-Point Assessments.

About the Apprenticeship Levy

  • Apprenticeship Levy is an amount paid at a rate of 0.5% of an employer's annual pay bill. As an employer, you have to pay Apprenticeship Levy each month if you: have an annual pay bill of more than £3 million
  • The Apprenticeship Levy is a small tax levied on UK employers to fund new apprenticeships. It means that all UK businesses with an annual wage bill of more than £3m must pay ½ a per cent of their gross payroll to HMRC.9 Feb 2024
