This event offers academic and practitioner perspectives on strategic importance of HR professional wellbeing
This event offers academic and practitioner perspectives on strategic importance of HR professional wellbeing. The wellbeing of HR professionals is fundamental to their ability to provide a meaningful contribution to their highly complex work. HR professionals act as a “bridge” between the organisation and its employees. They constantly balance different expectations in a challenging operational climate. This requires an ongoing and intense level of personal, emotional contact with a number of people with different demands and issues, which can be quite stressful and lead to emotional exhaustion and burnout.
Join us at this event to hear what Siobhán Sheridan CBE, Chief People Officer at Financial Conduct Authority, and Dr Jelena Petrovic, Associate Professor at the University of Southampton Business School think about strategic importance of HR professional wellbeing and how HR professionals can support their own wellbeing.
