About this event

We invite you to join Sintons LLP for their annual employment law seminar, reviewing updates in the last 12 months and future developments.

The seminar will be divided into three main sections:

  • 'Legislation Update' – Samuel Scott – In this section, we will review changes which have already come into force, which attendees need to be aware of. This will include changes to flexible working arrangements and paternity leave.

  • 'Case Law Update' – Ailsa Hobson and Max Winthrop – In this section, we will discuss a number of significant case law outcomes in the last twelve months. This will include cases discussing historic holiday pay claims and discrimination related to gender reassignment.

  • 'Things to Watch Out For' – Keith Land – In this section, we will discuss changes which we expect to be introduced in the future, including setting out steps employers can take in advance of these measures. This section will largely cover the anticipated changes which the newly elected Labour Party has indicated it will introduce.
