The profession has vital insights to contribute to discussions around proposed workplace reforms in the UK. We’re proud to represent professionals from organisations in all sectors and of all sizes. Over the past ten months, our public policy experts have shared your views and insights in numerous government consultations, roundtables and meetings with trade unions, employer organisations, ministers, MPs, peers and civil servants.
Join us on day one of the festival for an exclusive Employment Rights Bill roundtable to share your insights on pressing issues that are still to be consulted on by government, such as changes to probation periods, zero-hours contracts and trade union collaboration. Your feedback will directly shape our responses to government consultation, ensuring your voice is heard by leading policymakers.

Policymakers have recognised the CIPD and its members as key stakeholders in the development of new employment legislation, and we’re honoured that Alison McGovern MP, Minister of State for Employment, has agreed to join the festival line-up. Alison will join CIPD chief executive Peter Cheese on stage on day two to help festival-goers understand more about the government’s efforts to get more people into work and the role the people profession can play.

The CIPD Festival of Work is not to be missed by anyone who believes in the value people bring to the workplace. Across two days, more than 11,500 professionals are expected to enjoy memorable opportunities to learn and connect, share insights and even find some time to reflect and look ahead to the future.
Visitors will be able to choose from over 150 sessions across seven stages from global leaders, industry experts, policymakers, journalists and celebrities. They’ll also experience seven unique features across the festival floor, covering everything from AI and strategy to wellbeing and social impact.
If you can find time between sessions, there will be more than 180 exhibitors offering hands-on demos and opportunities to learn about the latest in workplace technology, learning platforms, HR software and business management tools.
