For the first time, aspiring people professionals in the Middle East will be able to study the CIPD’s Foundation Certificate in People Practice in Arabic.

With ambitious targets for increased economic, social and cultural diversification, employers in Gulf Cooperation Council (CCC) countries know that behind every thriving organisation is a team of experts in people, work and change. They place a high value on human capital development and are looking for qualified people professionals to nurture their growing teams

This foundation-level qualification provides an ideal route into the people profession for any Arabic speaker who’s keen to pursue a career in HR, learning and development, or organisation design. It will equip them with the skills and expertise they need to excel in people management and development – and make a tangible impact in the workplace

Following a successful pilot with a cohort of learners from Dubai Police, students from across the Middle East can now choose to study with one of six renowned learning providers, which we’ve carefully selected for their expertise and commitment to developing champions for better work and working lives:

  • Asas Training Institute
  • Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF)
  • Bradfield Learning and Development
  • Prime Learning and Development
  • PwC Academy
  • Victory Training and Development Institute.

As we continue to expand our offerings across the Middle East and North Africa, this new qualification signifies a bold step forward in promoting diversity and inclusivity in human resources. The Arabic-language qualification opens doors for a broader spectrum of individuals to access world-class HR education and contribute to the growth and development of organisations across the Middle East.

“By offering courses in Arabic, we break language barriers, ensuring world-class qualifications reach a wider audience. And by providing another route into the people profession, we’re supporting GCC countries' ambitious goals for workforce growth and development.”
