Discover how career success has shifted from what you know to how you adapt. Explore future-proofing strategies and transferable skills.
In an age of accelerations, it’s not what you learn – it’s how you learn.
As career paths become less linear and job roles evolve faster than ever, success depends less on what you already know and more on your ability to adapt, learn quickly, and apply transferable skills in unfamiliar settings. This session explores how core competencies like critical thinking, communication, and resilience have become the true currency of career growth. With interaction at its core, we’ll look at the shift from knowledge-based roles to capability-based careers and discuss how individuals can futureproof their value in any environment.

This session will take you through what career development means today, using a past/present/future view to enable you consider where you are now, and what you can do to enjoy a long career in a time of VUCA, changes in technology and attitudes to work.
